How to access healthcare at the surgery
The best way to access medical services is to use our eConsult service. This allows the clinical team to prioritise your needs.
What is eConsult and how does it work?
Please see our eConsult page for details.
The form you complete will be reviewed by a clinician and they will instruct our Care Advisors as to what the next step should be. This could be a face to face or telephone appointment, a prescription or to signpost you to another more appropriate healthcare professional, for example, a dentist or an optician.
If an appointment is required our Care Advisors will telephone you to arrange a time for you to see a clinician. It is useful if you keep your telephone close to hand as we may call back at any time. Please check your e-mails for a response and if you have not received a reply in 48 hours please contact the surgery.
Please note: if requesting a presscription through eConsult this can take up to 72 working hours. Also, requesting a prescription does not guarentee this will be issued by the GP, it is the patients responsibility to check after 72 working hours if the prescription has been issued or declined. Please contact your nominated pharmacy to check this in the first instance.
