HEALTH VISITORS

Health Visitors are trained Registered Nurses with a Diploma in Health Visiting.  Their aim is the promotion of health and the early detection of ill health.  They work mainly with the under fives, visiting families regularly to discuss the health and care of the mother and child, they give all immunisations to babies and pre-school children.  They can be contacted by telephoning 01383565244 between 8.30 am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.  If they are out on visits, a message can be left on their answering machine.
